For eons we have accepted a separation of women and men and seen women as lesser. The current popularity of the word bitch used in a degrogitory sense is a continuation of this put down. Is there a comprable word for men? Bastard might be an answer but it is not so commonly used and with as many definitions as this article points out. Instead of celebrating the word bitch, I suggest we campaign to stop its use and popularity and have a revolution to see women as equals to men. It will take a huge shift in all religions but it could be accomplished. In the meantime, do not use the word and when you hear someone else use it point ou the definition means a female dog. Did you know a make dog is called a dog but only the female has a special designation and is called a bitch????
